The County Clerk is also the Recorder of Deeds and the Election Authority. All land transactions, within the county, are recorded in this office. This office also issues marriage license, keeps the birth and death records for the county, takes minutes and keeps record of county board meetings, does the county payroll and accounts payable, tax extensions and many other things.
